Hello iKyu-riskers! once again. I want you to observe the dialogues above. What is that you don’t like?
Take your time…
…
Is it the tonality? Is it the choice of words? Is it the intensity with which this spat is happening?
What if I tell you that this dialogue is from India’s most reciprocated founder, whose company just IPOed few months back…
THE (K)EY NOTES:
The (K)urrent: GEMS & PEBBLES OF BHARAT
The (K)réme: B for BATTERY, C for COMPLAINTS
The (K)inK: ASSASSIN GREED: RED FLAG
What if I tell you that this is the same founder that has a tactic of taking cheap shots at other tech giants and then pulling out a wand and make all of his act look like those MNCs duped us Indians and his solutions are the real solution.
He did it for Cab hailing.
He did it for Navigation.
He did it for AI.And now he is doing it for EV.
Yes. We have to enter again in this Brothel of Billionaires, don’t worry this time it’s not in the education industry…
It’s something more filthy and electrifying.
Bhavish Aggrawal. And his lust with the word “Giga” made him believe that he is a chad. That’s where he got knocked out by Kunal Kamra. Yo, the one who doesn’t promote airlines industry much.
His new boy-toy became revving with OLA Electric—A public company with not so good reputations in public eyes as of now. Strange, isn’t it? Nope, that’s just OLA for you.
Bhavish and OLA are known for re-creating history; Of unsatisfied customers, unsatisfied service providers and unsatisfied startup building.
Fun fact: A lot of entrepreneurs look upto him and his journey of raising money and taking companies to IPO, only to realise what NOT to do as an entrepreneur. What an inspiration!
And this entire dialogue exchange and resurfacing of OLA Electric’s truth needs to be dissected and understood at granular level. Standup comedian Kunal Kamra is known to stir controversies, but this time it’s one level up; because a public company’s CEO is in spat with him.
Last time when he got in a spat, the nation wanted to know why the party in front was not speaking. This time with OLA Electric, it went too far.
Call it founder’s frustration, aggression or simple ego-tingle. Bhavish needs to answer. And Kunal needs to shut up.
That’s the word on the street.
Before we walk on the factory aisle of this debacle, we need to understand what led to this public tête-à-tête between two fiend from the same industry — COMEDY. One does it for mockery, the other for the markets. Are both failing at it?
Let’s brutally breakdown🪓 the fiasco of OLA Electric that made Bhavish loose around ₹3500 crores* just over an X spat on today’s edition of inK by iKyu.
But before we deep dive, let’s begin with India by iKyu…

GEMS & PEBBLES OF BHARAT…
RATAN TATA, WE MISS YOU
“The world cried, when he died”—Ratan Tata, the revered chairman emeritus of Tata Sons, passed away on October 9 at the age of 86, leaving a profound void in India's industrial landscape. His death, following a critical hospitalization, has elicited heartfelt tributes from leaders and citizens alike. It came as a shock because just 2 days on October 7th, he posted on his socials about how he feels beloved by everyone who checked in on his health. Prime Minister Modi hailed him as a "visionary business leader" whose contributions transcended commerce, shaping the very essence of our nation. Tata's legacy of compassion and innovation will forever resonate, not because of all the good deeds and how he supported the welfare of humanity; but rather how this conglomerate was generating employment for generations and TATA goes hand in hand with recall of Trust, reminding us that his loss is not just personal but a national tragedy. In mourning him, we recognize the invaluable impact he had on countless lives and the future of India.
BJP WINS HARYANA, MODI WINS INDIA
Prime Minister Modi celebrated the BJP's hat-trick victory in Haryana and significant gains in Jammu & Kashmir, framing these results as a mandate echoing across India. This was much required for our country in the current times. He criticized Congress for fostering caste divisions and alleged anti-national sentiments, claiming they aimed to undermine democracy. Modi emphasized that the BJP's focus on development for marginalized communities was vindicated by voters, contrasting it with Congress's historical neglect. He portrayed the BJP's consistent electoral success as a testament to its governance model, asserting that anti-India narratives failed to destabilize the party's momentum, reinforcing Modi's political prowess in a polarized landscape.
INDIA’S TAKE ON ‘EXTREMISM’ SPIRIT “CAN”ADA BE SHAKEN
India has officially withdrawn its High Commissioner from Canada amid escalating diplomatic tensions following Canada's allegations linking Indian diplomats to the murder of a Extremist and separatist leader. This move comes as a response to Canada expelling six Indian diplomats, intensifying the already strained relations. The Indian government deemed Canada's claims "preposterous," asserting that such accusations aim to destabilize India's international standing. By taking this decisive step, India reinforces its commitment to national integrity and sovereignty. Supporting this action aligns with the broader goal of enhancing India's global image and countering anti-India narratives that threaten its diplomatic stability.
THE (K)RÉME
B for BATTERY, C for COMPLAINTS…
The sun was setting over Bangalore’s bustling Electronic City when Rajiv’s S1 Pro scooter sputtered to a halt. Stranded on a busy highway with dwindling battery life, he frantically tried reaching customer service, only to be met with endless hold music (yes, that’s so-called big tech companies newest fetish). Rajiv’s story isn’t unique; it’s a snapshot of the growing discontent among Ola Electric customers who feel let down by promises unkept.
Ola Electric, helmed by Bhavish Aggarwal, burst onto the scene with grand ambitions to revolutionize India’s electric vehicle (EV) landscape. And we know how and why he dropped into this industry…

QWIK SAND, KICK STAND…
As the scooters hit the streets, cracks began to appear. Customers reported a litany of issues ranging from software glitches to mechanical failures. Social media platforms became inundated with complaints about delayed deliveries, malfunctioning components, and inadequate customer support…
